It is with mixed emotions that we announce Adrian Soper's resignation from his position as Chair of GBSUP CIC. Since stepping into the role in 2021, Adrian has been the driving force behind the resurgence of the GBSUP series, stepping in at a critical time following the sudden departure of the previous management team. His dedication and hard work have been pivotal in establishing a solid framework and back-end processes, setting GBSUP on a path towards stability and future growth.
Adrian's passion for the sport has always been evident; first and foremost, he is a keen paddler at heart. It's this passion that has fuelled his commitment to the GBSUP National Series, ensuring its progression and safeguarding the competitive integrity and national championships of our sport.
As Adrian embarks on his next adventures, we wish him nothing but the best of luck and express our deepest gratitude for his invaluable contributions since 2021.
